The Technical Preview of Windows 10 (WTP) for laptops and desktops is released on September 30, 2014. Later, all technicists and testers who opt into the “Window Insider” program can update to the Windows Technical Preview.
On October 7, 2014, the preview build is available to Windows 7 user as well.
On January 21, 2015, the consumer preview builds are released.
Windows 10 will ship to consumers and enterprise on July 29th, 2015 according to Microsoft.
