How to Add or Remove Display Desktop Context Menu on Windows 10

2. Select the Command Prompt (Admin).

3. Type into the command regsvr32 atiacmxx.dll (for 32-bit computer).

4. Hit the Enter key.

Note: If you have a 64-bit Windows 10 computer, you need to enter the command cd \windows\syswow64 firstly, and then use command regsvr32 atiacmxx.dll.

Add Intel Options to the Menu

1. Use Windows shortcut keys Win + X.

2. Select the Command Prompt (Admin).

3. Type into the command regsvr32 igfxpph.dll or regsvr32 igfxsrvc.dll.

4. Hit the Enter key.

Remove Display Desktop Context Menu on Windows 10

Delete NVIDIA Graphics Control Panel from Desktop Context Menu

Way 1. Use the NVIDIA Graphics Control Panel

1. Right-click the desktop and select the NVIDIA Control Panel.

2. Go to the Desktop menu.

3. Uncheck the Add Desktop Context Menu option.

Way 2. Use the Registry Editor

Note: Registry Editor is a database with massive Windows 10 data. Incorrectly registry modification may cause serious problems, such as 100% disk usage issue, black screen, Windows 10 boot loop, etc. So it’s important to back up the Registry before any system changes.

1. Open the Run.

2. Type into regedit.

3. Press the Enter.

5. Right-click on the key NvCplDesktopContext.

6. Select the Export to back up the file at a certain safe location.

7. Right-click the key NvCplDesktopContext again.

8. Select the Delete to remove the key.

Note: You can recover the key once you want to add the NVIDIA Control Panel with the backup.

Remove AMD Graphics Properties from the Right-click Context Menu

Way 1. Use Command Line

1. Open the Command Prompt (Admin).

2. Type into the command regsvr32 atiacmxx.dll /u.

3. Hit the Enter key.

Way2. Modify the Registry

1. Open the Registry Editor on Windows 10.

2. Expand the keys via the path: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\ACE.

3. Right-click on the key ACE.

4. Select the Export to back up the file at a certain safe location.

5. Right-click the key ACE again.

6. Select the Delete to remove the key.

Note: You can restore the key once you want to add the AMD Properties with the backup you’ve made.

Remove Intel Options or Settings

Way 1. Use Command Line to Delete the Intel Options

1. Open the Command Prompt (Admin).

2. Type into the command regsvr32 /u igfxpph.dll or regsvr32 /u igfxsrvc.dll.

3. Press the Enter key.

Way2. Modify the Registry

1. Open the Registry Editor on Windows 10.

2. Expand the keys via the path: HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers\igfxcui.

3. Right-click on the key igfxcui.

4. Select the Export to back up the file at a certain safe location.

5. Right-click the key igfxcui again.

6. Select the Delete to remove the key.
