Blue Screen of Death Will Turn Black in Windows 11

According to Tom Warren from The Verge, the blue screen of death (BSOD) will become black in the new Windows 11 operating system. In fact, many people have witnessed this major change in the preview rolling out at the end of June 2021.

From the screenshot of the new black screen of death in Windows 11, we can see that the sad face, the stop code and crash dump will not be changed. The black screen of death is set to match the new black logon and shutdown screens. BSOD first appeared in Windows 3.0 to help IT experts and technicians diagnose the hardware and memory issues. The sad face was added into Windows 8 in 2012 and later in 2016, the QR code was put in. No matter what color it is, the main function of it remains the same, namely to help people analyze the issues the system encounters.
