Atomic Heart is a first-person shooter and action role-playing game developed by Mundfish, which has been released on February 21, 2023. After a week of game evaluation and collecting player feedback, several feasible solutions are provided for fixing game screen flickering or tearing issue.

Before you fix the scree flicking issue, you should first check your computer configuration if it meet the requirements of Atomic Heart.

Solution1. Update Driver

The first step to fix Atomic Heart screen flicking and tearing problem is to update GPU driver. Solution2. Enable V-Sync

What is V-Sync:

Vsync is the abbreviation of Vertical Synchronization. The basic idea is to bring the FPS and display refresh rates at the same time. The purpose is to avoid screen tearing while user at game.

If your GPU driver is in the latest version, you can try to enable V-Sync to fix the Atomic Heart screen flicking and tearing issue.

For your Nvidia graphics card, you can enable the V-Sync in this way:

1. Turn on the Nvidia Control Panel app. If it’s not installed, go to Microsoft Store and install it

2. Go to ‘3D Settings’

Solution5. Set High Performance in Power Options

Low power mode might lower the performance of Atomic Heart, resulting screen flickering and tearing while playing Atomic Heart. If you computer running on the Balanced mode in Power Options, just set the High-Performance mode for better game performance.

You can follow the below steps to change power options:

1. Click on the Start Menu

2. Type Control Panel and click on it from the search result.

3. Go to Hardware and Sound

4. Select Power Options.

5. Click on High Performance to select it.

6. Make sure to close the window and fully shut down your computer. To do this, click on the Start Menu > Go to Power > Shut Down.

7. Once your computer is turned off, you can recharge it.
