Solution4. Maximum Power Output

The laptop or MacBook has a physical battery, which is managed and optimized the power consumption to increase the battery life by software. You might play Netflix video in a high resolution, and the GPU/CPU processing increases. In short, the power consumption increases if the GPU/CPU processing power increases.

To fix the Netflix or other video-playing issue, to avoid screen flickering and shaking, you can follow the below steps:

In Windows 11 or earlier version:

1. Open the Control Panel from the search bar.

2. Choose Hardware and Sound from the options.

3. Choose Power Options from the list of devices.

4. Choose High Performance from the power plans.

5. Create a high-performance plan, if it’s not present in the menu.

In MacOS or earlier version:

MacOS has a dedicated feature to optimize video playback power output. You can resolve the Netflix screen flickering issue by connecting the power plug.

Follow the tutorial below if you are playing the video on the battery.

1. Click on the Apple logo located at the top menu.

2. Choose System Preferences from the drop-down menu.

3. Choose Battery from the System Preferences.

The macOS machine will play the Netflix videos smoothly. The screen flickering disappears instantly, and you can play HDR videos without any problems.

Solution5. Run SFC

If all four solutions failed to fix the screen flickering and shaking issue, you might run the SFC commands.

SFC works by scanning for and replacing corrupted, missing or changed system files. Even if the SFC command doesn't repair any files, running it will at least confirm that no system files are corrupted, and you can then move on to troubleshooting your system using other methods. SFC commands are available whenever the computer itself is started. If Windows will start normally, you can run it from an administrative command prompt.

1.Press WIN+S together and type CMD(command prompt will show)

2.Run the Command Prompt as administrator( click Run as administrator)

3.If prompted, click on Yes to give admin privileges.

4.Once the command prompt window opens, type the following command and hit Enter to execute it:

sfc /scannow

5.Depending on the disk size and problematic data, the process may take some time. Please wait in patience.

6.Note down the detected issues and search for solutions and restart your computer to change effects immediately.
