Microsoft Announces a New Cleanup in the Feedback Hub

As a special communication platform, Feedback Hub allows users to express their opinions and ideas about Windows updates, which enables Microsoft to listen to the feedback and improve the performance and services of Windows. It is reported that Microsoft has announced to clean up the feedback existing in the Feedback Hub for more than 15 months. This change is beneficial to both users and Microsoft itself.

One the one hand, only retaining and displaying feedback posted within 15 months in the Feedback Hub, makes it easier for users and Microsoft to view the newest content. They do not have to view the long feedback list produced many years ago. They can quickly and efficiently focus on the newly written comments.

One the other hand, this change can improve the relevance of the contents in the Feedback Hub. A great number of comments in the Feedback Hub are related to the previous versions of Windows that have been abandoned by most people. These comments make no difference to the new released Windows 10 21H1. Therefore, deleting them can help users and Microsoft staff better find the latest feedback relevant to the new version Windows 10.

The decision to delete the feedback written over 15 months ago does bring great influence. Microsoft also claimed that if users want to keep their feedback being noticed, they can rewrite the feedback in the Feedback Hub.
